Wedding Dance Burnley

Most folk from round here go for about four or five sessions - gives you time to get comfortable without going mad with it. We're dead flexible with timing too, especially if you're doing that Manchester commute down the M65 every day. Evenings work well, or Saturday mornings if you're local and can pop in after your shop at the market.

Listen, that's exactly why we're here! Most couples who come through our door have never danced a step in their lives - maybe a bit of shuffling at the Burnley Miners Club, but nothing proper. We'll have you looking like you know what you're doing, I promise. No judgement, no rushing - just patient teaching that works for real people, not dance show contestants!

Right, best bet is to start a couple of months before the big day - gives you chance to learn proper without stress. That said, we've sorted out plenty of couples who've left it till the last minute. Had one pair from Cliviger book us two weeks before their Towneley Hall do - worked out brilliant! Sometimes the pressure helps you focus, to be honest.

We're right in the heart of Burnley, walking distance from everywhere that matters. If you're coming by car, Charter Walk car park's your best bet - you can always combine a lesson with a bit of shopping. Train users from the Pendle villages can hop off at Manchester Road station and be with us in five minutes. Dead central, can't miss us!

Course you can! That's half the fun, isn't it? Whether it's something classic like Elvis, a bit of Ed Sheeran, or even that song that was playing when you first met at the Mechanics - we'll make it work. Had one couple who wanted to dance to 'Blue Moon' because they're City fans, and another who chose something from Oasis. Your music, your dance, your way.

Nothing fancy needed - just whatever you'd wear for a walk through Queen's Park. Jeans and a T-shirt are spot on, maybe trainers or something comfy. Don't worry about proper dance shoes unless you've got them lying about. Later on, bring your wedding shoes so we can make sure you won't go flying on the day - especially important if you're dancing on those polished floors at Towneley!

Oh aye, absolutely! Father-daughter dances are proper special - we'll get your dad feeling confident even if he's the type who usually avoids the dance floor at family dos. Wedding party routines are brilliant too, especially for getting everyone involved. Makes for great entertainment, and the videos always go down well on the family WhatsApp groups afterwards!

That's the best way to learn, that! We'll record bits on your phone at the end of each session, so you can practice in your front room without forgetting what comes next. Plus we'll write down the moves for you - proper handy when you're trying to remember if it's left foot first or right. Practice makes permanent, as they say, and you'll be ready for anything come the day!
